NRH2O utilizes a safety rating system for all of its attractions, similar to those used at ski resorts. Each ride has been evaluated by the Aquatics staff and received a rating based on the nature of the ride and the skill required in its use.

The following symbols are posted at each ride and in the park maps available at each entrance.
 
Low speed and/or shallow water attractions offering passive water fun for those who just want to get wet and relax. For supervised youngsters, seniors, disabled or partially health limited guests. Rides include:  

  • Tad Pole Swimming Hole
  • Artificial Stream


Moderate thrill rides and/or water depth up to 48 inches. For  inexperienced riders, beginning swimmers and partially supervised disabled persons. Some rider control and maneuvering is required. Rides include: 

  • The Endless River
  • Kiddie Waterslides
  • The Double Dipper



Aggressive ride action requiring rider control and/or strong swimming skills. For "in shape" guests having no medical restrictions. Deep water or moderate to high speeds may be encountered. Physical activity may be strenuous. Rides include: 

  • The Great White
  • Lilly Pads/Logs


High thrill and/or deep water attractions requiring great rider control, swimming skills and/or physical condition. Can be stressful to those who fear heights, high speeds or enclosed places. Not for guests who have any health limitations. Rides include: 

  • NRH2 Ocean
  • The Green Extreme
  • The Accelerator
  • The Black Falls
  • The Blue Twister
  • The Purplepalooza
